- Store jewelry in a cool, dry place. If the storage is airtight, it will prevent oxidation caused by exposure to oxygen. Avoid contact with chlorine, sweat, perfumes, and sea salt. Do not stack jewelry, as this can cause scratches. Clean your jewelry every two to three months. Soak it in a container with water and soap for ten minutes, wipe it gently with a cotton cloth, and dry it with a soft cloth or towel.
